Along Canada’s winding backroads
We threw the gear into the back, turned the ignition, and traded the predictable city grid for the open, rolling pavement of Ontario, chasing down the fleeting late-afternoon light with our cameras ready.
There is a distinct thrill in tracking down details that standard maps miss completely. We spent the day hunting shadows across weathered barn boards, freezing the geometric patterns of roadside power lines, and stopping the car abruptly whenever the sun sliced perfectly through the dense pine canopy. It is a shared rhythm of observation, where one of us spots a texture and the other is already adjusting the shutter speed to lock it in.
The asphalt eventually quieted down, leaving us with memory cards packed full of raw, honest moments that make you want to pack a bag and drive.
